What Dial House @Touchstone offers

Dial House @Touchstone is a partnership between Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) and Touchstone made possible following the award of £500k Lottery funding for five years, and has no gained mainstream funding. The project first opened to new visitors on 1st October 2013 at the Touchstone Support Centre in Harehills. As of April 2022, the service has received further funding to open on a third night as a social space.

It’s open every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6pm to 12am, offering support and social time, and Monday evenings 6pm to 11pm for social time. It brings together LSLCS’s expertise in providing crisis services and Touchstone’s experience of supporting culturally diverse people. The service provides out-of-hours crisis services to people from culturally diverse communities in acute mental health crisis and is staffed by a Manager, Senior Crisis Support Worker and three Crisis Support Workers who are all culturally diverse.

The service is held in a place of sanctuary and provides emotional support and information. Dial House @Touchstone staff also work at Dial House in Halton. The aim is to provide a culturally specific service at Dial House @Touchstone whilst providing a reciprocal bridge to our Halton site. Dial House @Touchstone is for anyone from a culturally diverse background, including refugees and asylum seekers. Dial House @Touchstone is committed to safeguarding children and adults.
