Project Info

Project Description

Crisis Support Workers (Casual) for Dial House Combined Service & Dial House at Touchstone
Post 1 – Dial House: Friday, Saturday & Sunday (5:30pm-1:30am) – Casual Workers
Post 2 – Dial House at Touchstone: Tuesday & Thursday (5:30pm – 12.30am) – Casual Workers

Please note the Dial House @Touchstone post is subject to a Genuine Occupational Requirement, as all staff who work at Dial House @Touchstone must identify as being from a diverse community.

We are seeking casual workers who can work across one or both services to provide cover for annual leave, sickness and other short-term absence.

Pay (Casual): £16.58 per hr (incl 12.07% in lieu of holiday pay)

LSLCS is a nationally recognised survivor-led organisation.  We provide out-of-hours services to people in acute mental health crisis, who may otherwise end up in psychiatric services, A&E, or other crisis and emergency provision.  Our flagship service (Dial House) has been running since 1999.  This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded, multi award winning mental health charity, which provides an alternative, non-medical approach to mental distress.

As we are a survivor-led organisation, personal experience of emotional distress is essential.  We aspire to create a working environment that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusive practice and applications for these posts would be particularly welcome from colleagues from diverse cross-cultural communities, who may be under-represented in our workforce (e.g.) Black, Asian and Ethnic heritage groups, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals with a disability.

For an informal discussion about the posts, please contact Aimee Megson or Carol Gatewood, Adult Services Managers, at aimee.megson@lslcs.org.uk or carol.gatewood@lslcs.org.uk or on 0113 260 9328.

If you wish to apply, please email recruitment@lslcs.org.uk for an application pack or download here.
