Crisis can be an extremely difficult time. It can be life changing and feel overwhelming. It can also be complex and emotionally, mentally and physically exhausting. This group offers a space for people to be together and share their individual experiences of crisis and also feel listened to and to have the opportunities to learn new coping skills. Our support group is facilitated by staff that have lived and professional experience of self-harm and we can offer group work support to people who are using self-harm as a coping mechanism. Together we work on developing new skills to manage, contain and prevent future crisis.
The Coping with Crisis Group runs every Saturday from 12 – 3pm. For more information please contact Patrick on 0113 260 9328 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
As with all our groups, you will be invited to meet Patrick (our group work supervisor) before attending.
It feels such a relaxed and comfortable space here. The kindness I have received and realising that I am not on my own has made me feel so much better. It helps me feel happy when I am feeling down coming here. I don’t feel isolated anymore.
